Michael Moffat is a footballer currently playing in the Scottish First Division for Ayr United.He signed from Girvan on 10 January 2011.  Moffat scored eleven goals in his first season at Ayr United, including the winner against Brechin City to get the club promoted to Scottish Football League First Division. The following season Moffat netted seven goals for the Honest Men, all of which came in [[Scottish Football League First Division. During the 2011-12 campaign, Moffat missed only one match, a 3-0 Challenge Cup victory over Raith Rovers, he also appeared for Ayr at Hampden Park for League Cup Semi-Final against local rivals, Kilmarnock. In June 2012, Moffat Signed a new deal with Mark Roberts Somerset Park outfit, following the clubs relegation to the Second Division.
